In the afternoon of 18 June, the IFPA General Assembly took place in Lisbon – including the election of a new Board for the next three years and a presentation of various IFPA activities.
The GA started with the approval of the Activity reports, Financial reports and Auditor’s reports for 2013-2015.
Then followed presentations of the achievements of the National and Regional Development Committee and of the WPD Steering Committee during the same period, as well as reports of recent activities by LATINAPSO, PsorAsia, PsorAfrica and EUROPSO
Next, two amendments to the IFPA Constitution were passed: IFPA has a new Auditor, the Executive Committee is now called Board and the Secretariat is officially written into the Constitution.
Finally, a new Board was elected for the next three years, after personal presentations by all candidates. The new Board consists of Lars Ettarp (President), Hoseah Waweru (Vice-President), Silvia Fernandez Barrio (Secretary), Josef de Guzman (Treasurer), Ingvar August Ingvarsson (Member-at-Large) and Kathleen Gallant and Leticia Lopez (Substitutes). IFPA wants to thank outgoing Board member Ragnar Akre-Aas in particular for his support to the organization.
