Tomorrow on October 29, 2016 IFPA members across the world will be celebrating World Psoriasis Day!
One of IFPA’s biggest annual events is World Psoriasis Day, which is dedicated to raising awareness of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis and celebrating the global psoriasis community.
For 2016, IFPA has chosen the WPD theme “Breaking Barriers for People with Psoriasis.”
In their daily lives, people with psoriasis often have to face difficult barriers in school, at work, in the healthcare system and even in close relationships. This is why, on October 29, IFPA wants to fight barriers of stigma, discrimination and prejudice. By doing so, we hope to raise awareness and understanding, and ultimately gain improved quality of life for the more than 125 million people living with psoriasis across the world.
