01 January 2019
You may have heard rumblings of IFPAs new Capacity Development Program over the past year. Yes, it’s true: in 2019 the Capacity Development Program really comes to life! IFPA wishes to be more engaged with members on all levels. Our new Capacity Development Program is an ambitious initiative to facilitate each of us learning from each other and link our efforts moving forward.
With this Program, IFPA intends to strengthen the connections between the national, regional and global levels of the IFPA community and to offer our members more opportunities for training and development. We are kicking off 2019 with two exciting parts of the program: the new IFPA Working Groups and the IFPA Webinar Series.
Do you have enthusiasm and expertise to share with IFPA? Join a Working Group! In the Working Groups, we aim to gather experts and other functionaries from the IFPA community to work together on specified projects relevant to IFPA’s goals. These groups will be a great way for representatives from members associations to take greater ownership of IFPA’s work and influence IFPA’s global strategy.
Right now we have three working groups you can join:
If you are interested in joining a working group, or if you just want to know more about the Capacity Development Program, please contact Alice Titialii, Program Officer – Capacity Development at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are not sure about the Working Groups, but you are interested in learning more about how we can work together, the first webinar of the IFPA Webinar Series will walk you through all the different parts of the Capacity Development Program and the new direction we are taking this year. The webinars are a great way for everyone in the IFPA community to check in with each other on a regular basis, and where our members can easily discuss different topics. We invite Program Directors, Public Relations Managers, Medical Officers, and personnel involved at every level of your organizations so join the conversation!
The first webinars will be held on February 13th at 12:00 CET and 14th at 17:00 CET (the same webinar will be held twice to accommodate as many schedules and time-zones as possible). Please join the webinar and learn more about how we can work together and grow even stronger in our fight for everyone living with psoriatic disease!
